Jan Ahlrichs read history and philosophy at university. He has been working as a consultant for an independent Hamburg consultancy advising social services at local and regional government level.

Jan Ahlrichs is responsible for finances and legal contractual matters with  turanskyj&ahlrichs*** GbR. Though reluctant to intervene in artistic matters, Jan Ahlrichs does get involved in preliminary artistic discussion and planning, from script development to shooting and editing stage.
